Cliff jumping is a very popular summer time sport. The sport can be dangerous when necessary precautions and rules are not followed.

If you don't inspect the area prior to cliff jumping you risk hitting the bottom, underwater rocks, sunken logs and debris.  Hitting the bottom, underwater debris, or rocks can knock the cliff jumper unconscious and may result in drowning. It’s very important that you don't go cliff jumping alone for safety reasons.
